Embark on the inspiring journey of 凯文Brookins, an esteemed alumnus of Governors State University (GovState), retired Senior Executive of ComEd, and current Vice Chair on the Board of Trustees. Raised in the south suburbs of Chicago, Kevin's parents and educators instilled in him a deep appreciation for education. 在他们智慧的指引下, he pursued higher education, earning a Master of Business Administration from GovState.

Kevin's dedication to his family shines through his remarkable career achievements. While being interviewed he says, “my personal accomplishment that I am most proud of is, 做一个好丈夫, 做一个好父亲, 做一个好儿子.”

As a senior executive at ComEd, Kevin initiated transformative advancements, guided by his leadership and vision. Now serving as Vice Chair on the Board of Trustees, Kevin continues to inspire his community with his commitment to excellence and service.

Interdisciplinary Studies 校友 Event

 

INLD 10 Year Celebration of 校友, Faculty and Students

In celebration of its 10th year of creating educational and non-profit leaders, the Interdisciplinary Leadership Doctorate (INLD) Program at GovState hosted a 3-day event on March 3-5, 2022. 在这三天里, they held a research symposium to support graduate 学生s, 接待一位校友, 学生, and faculty networking event where the GovState community was able to meet connect and engage with the full INLD community, and organized a program meeting where alumni offered professional and academic insight to current 学生s, and faculty provided additional support and guidance to current 学生s as they matriculate through the program.
